Patchwork

A two-player board game where players compete to build the most aesthetic and high-scoring patchwork quilt.

Players take turns either buying and placing a patch on their quilt board or advancing their time token to gain buttons.
Patches cost both buttons and time to place.
The game ends when both players reach the center of the time board.
Players score points for buttons left and subtract points for empty spaces on their quilt board.

Plan ahead to maximize button income and minimize empty spaces.
Don't ignore the special patches that give you an immediate button bonus.
Sometimes it's worth skipping expensive patches to gain more buttons or a better position on the time track.
